Buttery, flaky and chocolatey - all of my favorite things! Using store bought puff pastry makes these cannabis-infused treats quick and easy, and dosing a breeze.


RECIPE YIELD: 4 servings
Serving SIZE: 1 turnover
Dose per serving: an estimated 17.5 mg when made using the CannaButter recipe

Servings: 4
  • 1 sheet puff pastry dough (bring out of freezer in advance per package directions)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 4 teaspoons CannaButter, melted
  • 4 teaspoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 4 squares semi-sweet chocolate
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Unfold a single pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Roll the sheet into a 10-inch square. Cut each into 4 (5-inch) squares.
  3. Combine sugar and cocoa. Fill the center of each square with 21 teaspoon of melted Cannabutter and 1 teaspoon of melted regular butter, then top with the sugar/cocoa mixture. Finish with a square of chocolate
  4. Brush the edges of the pastries with the egg, then fold over and seal with a fork. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and brush with egg wash.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before removing to finish cooling on a baking rack.
